BENTON, Ky. - A woman's body found in the aftermath of a fire in western Kentucky has been identified and a coroner's report says the death is a homicide.
Marshall County Coroner Mitchell Lee says the body found Saturday night was that of 46-year-old Debra Hendrickson of Benton. An autopsy at a state medical examiner's office determined blunt force trauma to the head caused the woman's death.
It was Hendrickson's home that burned. No arrest is reported thus far in the investigation. However, police are interviewing a person of interest.
