Mosquitoes Test Positive for West Nile

HARRISBURG, Ill. - Health officials say mosquitoes have tested positive for West Nile virus in Harrisburg, Illinois.
The Egyptian Public and Mental Health Department in Harrisburg has confirmed positive West Nile virus in mosquitoes in downtown Harrisburg.
This is the third positive test in four years.  Tests for West Nile are conducted once a week from August through September.
A representative with the health department says the positive test is nothing to be concerned about and advises people to use safe and proper protection.
