BUTLER COUNTY, Mo. - The death of a Butler County man last month will not result in any charges.
Tommy Haugen, 23, died after he was hit in the head with a lead pipe, by 17-year-old Michael Sincup.
It was originally reported as a fight over the theft of fishing poles, but investigators now say Haugen was angry because Sincup would not sell him meth.
The death was determined to be self defense.
Prosecuting attorney Kevin Barbour says he doesn't think he has a winnable case, given the number of conflicting testimonies.
