Fisher-Price Recall

Fisher-Price Recall
By: Heartland News
Fisher-price is recalling almost one million toys because of excessive amounts of lead in their paint. The 83 types of toys include the popular Big Bird, Elmo, Dora and Diego characters
The worldwide recall involves plastic preschool toys made by a chinese vendor and sold in the U.S. between May and August.
Owners of a recalled toy can exchange it for a voucher for another product of the same value.
The recall is the first for Fisher-Price and parent company Mattel involving lead paint.
It's the latest in a wave of recalls that has heightened concern about the safety of chinese-made products.
