Weather Watcher - Wappapello, MO

Name:  John Davis

Town:  Wappapello, MO

Number of years as Weather Watcher:  Since 2001

Most interesting weather:  John says the most interesting weather that he can remember happened on Sunday morning February 25, 1979.  A blizzard dumped over twenty inches of snow on Southeast Missouri closing I-55 and other major roads.  The tremendous wind and heavy snow caused several buildings and marinas to collapse.

Something extra:  John says his greatest enjoyment is spending time with his wife (Kathleen) of 40+ years and his grandchildren.  He can also be found enjoying life by the late, feeding and observing the wildlife, and working in his shop.
