PATTON, Mo. - A fire at the Meadow Heights School destroyed the Vocational-Agriculture building Monday night.
No one was injured.

Superintendent Rob Huff says at least 100 students use the building during an average school day.

"F.F.A. is a major part of our school. The building and classes have been a part of Meadow Heights since at least the 1960's," Huff said.

Firefighters received the call around 9:30 p.m.  They had the fire knocked down and under control in less than 40 minutes.  Firefighters from North (Bollinger) County, Marble Hill, Sedgewickville, Millersville, and Scopus were on the scene.

Fire investigators will be on hand Tuesday to investigate what started the fire.
