POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. - Police in Poplar Bluff arrested a dangerous fugitive Friday morning.
Bradley Fortner, 31, is wanted by the FBI and local agencies in several states for a string of bank robberies and armed robberies.
Officers say an employee at Costello's Restaurant heard something in the attic.  He called police and that's when they found Fortner hiding there.
After a couple of hours, police talked him out without incident.
At first, Fortner gave police a fake name, but when he heard police would run his fingerprints he gave his real name and police arrested him.
Fortner is being held in the Poplar Bluff jail where federal officers will pick him up.
