RICHMOND, Va. - Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick has been indicted on charges related to illegal dogfighting.
A federal grand jury in Richmond, Virginia, has indicted Vick and three others on charges of violating federal laws against competitive dogfighting. They're also charged with procuring and training pit bulls for fighting and conducting dog fighting across state lines.
The indictment alleges Vick and the co-defendants began sponsoring dogfighting in early 2001, Vick's rookie year with the Atlanta Falcons.
