Lady Bird Johnson dies

AUSTIN, Texas - Lady Bird Johnson has died at the age of 94.
The former first lady and wife of Lyndon B. Johnson was a champion for conservation and worked tirelessly to promote her husband's political career.
Mrs. Johnson returned home late last month after a week in the hospital where she had been admitted for a low-grade fever.
A spokeswoman said Mrs. Johnson died at her Austin, Texas, home of natural causes.
