Farmington Fugitive Caught in the Philippines

FARMINGTON, Mo. - The story begins in Farmington, dating back to 2000, when court records show 51-year-old Larry Ronald Bable allegedly molested a child.
A grand jury indicted Bable in 2005, on a charge of child molestation.
Sometime during 2005, Bable apparently stopped making court appearances....and disappeared from St. Francis County.
It's not clear yet where Bable went next, but a tip led investigators to him half a world away.  He was spotted in the Philippines in January of this year.
According to the U.S. State Department, the Philippines Immigration Intelligence division picked up Bable on February 27th.
On Tuesday, immigration officials deported Bable, and U.S. Marshals transported him to Guam to appear before a judge and prosecutor on U.S. soil.
He's still in custody awaiting extradition back to St. Francis County where he'll face the charges of molestation and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
