New details in Butler County death

BUTLER COUNTY, Mo. - There's new details in a Butler County death.
Butler County Sheriff Mark Dobbs tells Heartland News that investigators believe a drug debt played a role in the death of 23-year-old Tommy Haugen.
Investigators think Haugen died when 17-year-old Michael Sincup hit him over the head with an iron pipe.
The sheriff initially thought the two fought over stolen fishing poles, but now he thinks the two started fighting in a mobile home when Sincup wouldn't sell Haugen methanphetamine because Haugen owed his cousin $70 from a previous drug transaction.
Sincup was charged with murder, but prosecutors dropped the charges earlier this week.
