PARAGOULD, Ark., KENNETT, Mo. - A Kennett man now faces formal charges in the murder of his ex-wife and the kidnapping of their son.
Kristopher Parker made his first court appearance late Friday on charges of capitol murder and kidnapping.
The search for Parker and his son began last Wednesday night after Tiffany Parker's mother found the 30-year-old beaten to death in her Paragould, Arkansas home.
Parker turned himself in to Arkansas police Thursday morning.
Their son was not hurt. There has been no word yet on a motive for the attack.
