New charges for man in reckless homicide case

HARRISBURG, Ill. - A Harrisburg man who pleaded guilty to reckless homicide is behind bars for another crime.
Garat Leverett, 20, was out on bond after pleading guilty to a reckless homicide charge in the deaths of a Harrisburg couple.
Tammy and Steve Johnson where killed when a truck driven by Leverett hit their motorcycle from behind.
He could get anywhere from probation, to a 10-year prison term.
Leverett was arrested last month on felony theft charges for stealing a truck.
