ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Missouri Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Control finds no fault with Mike Shannon's Restaurant in connection with the death of Cardinals Pitcher Josh Hancock.
Investigators say they found "no credible evidence" that either the restaurant or its employees were at fault for serving alcohol to Hancock the night his SUV struck the back of a parked tow truck on I-64 in St. Louis.
Police says Hancock's blood alcohol level was nearly twice the legal limit, but an offical says interviews reveal that Hancock was drinking in moderation before the crash.
Hacock's father has filed a lawsuit naming Shannon's restaurant and the restaurant's manager as defendants.
