We all know what happens when you don't pay your taxes...you get a call from your friends with the IRS. That's exactly the case in Pulaski County.
"We were contacted by the IRS to let us know we were behind on payments," says Pulaski County State's Attorney Grayson Gile.
In the last year or so, the Pulaski County Treasurer's office started using new accounting software. Somewhere along the way, Gile explains the county wasn't paying enough to the Internal Revenue Service.
On Monday, Gile met with Pulaski County Commissioners to discuss the issue. "As of today, we're current on our payments to the IRS, based on our investigation, we've found there's been no wrongdoing whatsoever."
