Jennifer Ricker says she did not know if she would ever see her son T.J. ever again.  That's because T.J.'s dad allegedly took the boy Monday morning from Ripley County, and Ricker had no idea where they were going.

"It was scary," Ricker said, just moments after seeing her son again at the Poplar Bluff Police Department.  City officers took Timothy Rackard into custody Monday, after finding him at a friend's home in Poplar Bluff.

Ripley County investigators tipped city police that Rackard may be in Butler County. A Poplar Bluff Patrolman found the car on "D Street" on the east part of town. Police say Rackard surrendered without incident.

Ripley County Investigators began their search for Rackard after Ricker said he took T.J. from her arms.  No charges have been filed as of Monday night, pending a review by Ripley County Prosecuting Attorneys.
