Dirty Jobs
You've got to watch Heartland News at 5 p.m. November 13th - 17th.  Jason hangs up his lab coat and goggles to try out some of the dirtiest jobs in the Heartland.  From giving a horse an ultrasound to picking up road kill Jason will introduce you to some of the folks that do dirty jobs in our area.

Blast Into Space With Science Reporter Jason Lindsey
KFVS Meteorologist and Science Reporter Jason Lindsey along with the Challenger Learning Center at Paducah have teamed up to blast you into space.  On November 9th, from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., adults and children 9 years or older can join Jason Lindsey and fly a mission in the Challenger Learning Center's hands-on simulators, which include a functioning space station and mission control.

Beakman's World
Start each Sunday in November by watching the Heartland Science Lab on KFVS at 6 a.m. then switch over to The Heartland's CW at 11:30 a.m. for Beakman's World.

Also in November, Jason will be the first reporter in the Heartland to take you to the location where Missouri's only dinosaur was discovered.  Plus, he'll join hundreds of Missouri kids and build a bridge.  MODOT provides students with wood, glue, along with thread and asked them to design and build the most efficient bridge-the lightest bridge to carry the greatest load.  Jason will put his bridge to the test LIVE during the Breakfast Show.

Here's a calendar for you to print out and place on your refrigerator.  Each night, grab the kids for some exciting stories that might get you and your family hooked on science.
