Doctor's death still being investigated as his wife returns home

Paducah, KY - Penny Baird Shemwell took her first steps on her late husband's home since his brutal death.

Police discovered 81-year-old Doctor Frank Shemwell's charred body on the kitchen floor of his home in late July.
Our camera caught 41-year-old Penny Shemwell at the Buckner Lane home around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Regions Bank currently has control of doctor Shemwell's estate and his home.
Heartland News learned Mrs. Shemwell worked out a deal with the bank on Tuesday to enter the property and retrieve her clothing and other personal belongings.
Meanwhile Paducah Police continue there investigation into the doctors horrific death.
As of Tuesday Judge Jeff Hines sealed the records of seven search warrants in this case, stating the investigation is on going.
Warrants included Penny's home, the Buckner Lane property, and a repair shop where police located Penny's computer.         
A police spokesperson, Robin Newberry, said so far there are no charges or suspects in this case.
