High School Teacher Charged with Sexual Assault

It as just before 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon when 30-year-old Eric Willis of Marion turned himself in at the Williamson County Sheriff's Department.
Willis worked as the physical education teacher and baseball coach at Anna- Jonesboro High School, before the allegations of sexual misconduct were filed against him.
The Williamson County State's Attorney charged Willis with three felony counts alleging a sexual relationship between Willis and one of his female students at the Anna-Jonesboro High School.
The charges allege that the sexual misconduct with the student occurred between October 2005, and December 2005 in Williamson County.
Willis surrendered himself to police with out any argument and was placed under arrest by a Williamson County Deputy.
He's charged with 1 count of Criminal Sexual Assault, and 2 counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse of a female between the ages of 13 and 17.
Willis' bond is set at $500,000 and he must forfeit his passport to police.
