A Heartland group is working to get donations and goods to victims of Hurricane Katrina who still need help.

The Scott County search and rescue k-9 unit says officials in the Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi area contacted them asking for lots of items that are in short supply in the south.

They include things like blankets, diapers, household supplies, space heaters and appliances. If you donate, they'll make sure people in the south get them.

You can drop these goods off at four locations:
Genesis Transportation in Cape Girardeau
Jerry's Restaurant in Marble Hill
