Grant Dade said temperatures are warming into the lower 90s on July 10 with the heat index above 100 degrees in many areas.

There are a few widely scattered storms across the area with the greatest concentration across our Ozark Counties in southeast Missouri.

These will likely diminish around sunset.

Temperatures this evening will remain warm and muggy. Low by morning will be in the lower to middle 70s.

Highs Wednesday reach the lower to middle 90s with heat index values between 100 and 105 degrees. There will be a few very isolated showers, but most areas will remain dry.

It will, however, drop the dewpoints a little and make it feel less sticky than Monday and Tuesday.
