Person of interest in Massac Co., IL shooting in custody

MASSAC COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - The Illinois State Police District 22, the person of interest in a shooting has been taken into custody.

Charles Anderson, 50, had been last seen in the Unionville area of Massac County, Illinoisc, acording to Trooper Greg Miller.

Trooper Miller said the shooting happened somewhere between Mt. Sterling Road and Pell Road sometime around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30.

ISP was asking residents in the Unionville area to lock the doors to their residence, vehicles, and be on the watch for Anderson.
