SEMO baseball sweeps Murray State in doubleheader

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

The Southeast Missouri State baseball team played a doubleheader against Murray State Saturday at Capaha Park. 

In the first game, SEMO defeated Murray State by a score of 8-6. Carlos Vega got the win (7-3).  The second game had the Redhawks over the Racers 7-5. Christian Vick got the win in the second game (5-3).

With the wins, the Redhawks improve to (14-7) in the Ohio Valley Conference and (20-20) overall.

SEMO plays SIU in Carbondale on Tuesday, April 24.
