ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – The Rally Cat has been found!

Friday morning, the St. Louis Feral Cat Outreach posted a photo of a kitten that was trapped at the City Garden overnight. The outreach said they were working to determine if the kitten is the infamous Rally Cat from Wednesday night’s Cardinals game.

Later in the morning, a board member of the outreach confirmed the cat they had in their possession was the Rally Cat. On Facebook, the organization said they were able to identify the cat based on the bands on his legs and the bullseye pattern on his back.

In a previous Facebook post, the outreach said the kitten that was trapped would be going to a no kill rescue.

After being taken off the field by grounds crew member Lucas Hackmann, the kitten was placed near the Stan Musial statue. Korie Harris claimed she picked up the kitten but lost it in the City Garden. Wednesday morning, the Humane Society and the Stray Rescue of St. Louis said they did not know where the kitten was located.

Rally cat will be available for adoption in two weeks. He will first go to a rescue agency before finding his forever home. If you can't adopt Rally Cat, you can have him with you all the time by wearing a one of a kind Rally Cat shirt.

"The rally cat showed up just in time to get the Cardinals on a roll and here at sports print we were the first ones to knock out the rally cat t-shirt," says Ralph Rockmann with Sportsprint. You can buy the shirt online through Sportsprint virtual store or at the Sportsprint store in Ferguson.
