House fire draws several fire departments in Jackson County, IL

Several fire departments responded to a fire in Pomona, Illinois on Saturday night.

Jackson County, Illinois officials responded to the fire at around 8:06 p.m. No one was in the house at the time of the fire and there were no injuries as a result. The fire constituted a total loss.

The homeowners told KFVS that this was the second time their house has burned down in 3 years. They also had a cabin on their property in years past that burned down twice, along with a shed that also burned down.

The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
