CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) -

A man wanted in connection to a deadly shooting in Carbondale has been arrested in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

According to the Craighead County Sheriff's Department, U.S. Marshals arrested Jarrell Pullen, 22, on Tuesday, April 11.

Pullen is accused of shooting and killing Javon T. Trott, 19, of Johnston City, Ill.

It happened on March 9 near 418 East Willow Street.

Pullen faces a charge of first-degree murder. A judge set his bond at $1 million.

According to police, Trott and Pullen were acquaintances and were involved in a fight prior to the shooting.
