A Poplar Bluff woman was taken to the hospital after a car crash in St. Francois County on Friday, Dec. 30.
The crash happened on Route N near Grider Road just after 3:30 p.m. The driver, Vickie L. Crowell, 60, swerved to avoid hitting a dog, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The report states the car then went off the road, striking a road sign, a tree, a utility pole and a fence.
Crowell went to a hospital in Farmington with "minor" injuries, according to the report.
