Making Headlines:

Strong accusations:  The United States is unleashing a string of sanctions and other punitive measures against Russia amid allegations that it engaged in cyber-meddling in the U.S. presidential campaign. Russia's government threatened retaliation and continued to deny U.S. accusations.

Fatal crash: A Paducah, Kentucky man was walking across the road when he was hit and killed by a driver in McCracken County. According to Paducah Tilghman High School, William 'Ed' Taylor was well known in the world of sports across the area and was the longtime voice of Tilghman sports.

Missing plane: A search is underway in Cleveland, Ohio for a missing plane that left Burke Lakefront Airport late Thursday night. The plane was headed to Columbus. Here's what what we know right now.

Under investigation: A U.S. Army soldier stationed at Fort Campbell in Kentucky was arrested for allegedly sexting with a teen girl. Investigators say Peter Maxx Matlock, 23, exchanged nude photographs and performed simulated sex acts over Skype with a 14-year-old girl.
