Texas man killed in single-vehicle crash in Ripley County

RIPLEY COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

A man from Joaquin, Texas was traveling in Ripley County on Monday, Dec. 26 when he crashed his truck and later died.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Martin Lenwood, 65, was driving on US 160 about 3 miles east of Doniphan when he crashed.

Troopers say Lenwood ran through an intersection and hit a ditch.

Lenwood was taken to the hospital where he later died.

This marks the 73 fatal crash for southeast Missouri in 2016.
