'Suspicious' house fire under investigation in West Frankfort

WEST FRANKFORT, IL (KFVS) -

The cause of a suspicious house fire in West Frankfort is under investigation, according to the West Frankfort Fire Department.

Firefighters were called out to a double-wide trailer in the 200 block of Kennedy Drive around 3:15 a.m. Monday morning.

Neighbors reported the fire.

When crews got on scene, the fire was fully involved. Flames could be seen coming through the roof.

No one was home when the fire started.

The Illinois State Fire Marshal has been called to investigate.

The house is complete loss.

Firefighters from West Frankfort, Benton, Zeigler, and West City helped to put out the fire.
