First Alert Weather Outlook:

Fog could be an issue for drivers this morning. In fact, some of the most southern Heartland counties are under a freezing fog advisory. When you walk out the door this morning, you will likely need an ice scrapper. But Brian Alworth says it should warm up to the mid to upper 40s by lunchtime, meaning Wednesday could be the nicest day so far this week. FIRST ALERT: The weather team is tracking a wet Christmas weekend.

Making Headlines:

Serious crash: Three New Madrid teens were rushed to the hospital following a serious crash late Tuesday night. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened on Rt. WW about one mile east of New Madrid around 10:30 p.m. when the driver ran off the road and flipped.

Fatal injuries: A Kentucky man was killed in a single car crash along Interstate 57 late Tuesday night. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 55-year-old David Stephenson, of South Shore, KY, was traveling southbound about four miles north of Sikeston when he veered off the road and hit a tree.

Under investigation: The Carbondale Police Department is investigating another instance of graffiti left on Regions Bank. Police said this is the second time in the last month, and while it is unknown if the incidents are connected, investigators say the graffiti was in protest of the North Dakota Access Pipeline.

Search for suspect: German media report that authorities have identified and are searching for a suspect in connection with the fatal truck attack on a Berlin Christmas market. Investigators found documents in the truck cab that were issued to a Tunisian man.
