Carbondale police investigating second incident of graffiti left on bank

CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) -

The Carbondale Police Department is investigating another instance of graffiti left on a bank.

According to police, officers found the graffiti at around 5:20 a.m. on December 20 on Regions Bank at 500 West Main Street.

They said this is the second time in the last month, but it is unknown at this time if the incidents are connected.

In both incidents, police said the graffiti was in protest of the North Dakota Access Pipeline.

The investigation is ongoing.
