Southeast Missouri State University announced its holiday hours

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

Southeast Missouri State University offices will be closed for the holidays and energy conservation starting at 5 p.m. on December 22.

Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on January 3 and the spring 2017 semester classes will begin on Jan. 17.

Additional winter break hours include:

Student Recreation Center: Dec. 17-Jan. 14

  • Monday-Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday-Sunday from noon to 7 p.m.

Students Aquatic Center

  • Monday-Friday from 5:30-7:30 a.m.; 11 a.m.-1 p.m.; 4-7 p.m.
  • Saturday-Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

Student Recreation Center facilities will resume normal operating hours on Sunday, Jan. 15.

Information Technology Help Desk Hours:

Additional technology support and service hours of operation will be offered by the Information Technology Help Desk during the winter break and holidays. The IT Desk provides walk-in, telephone, email and chat support at the following times:

Memorial Hall

  • Dec. 19-22 - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Jan. 3-6 - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Jan. 9-13 - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Towers Help Desk

  • Jan. 14-15 - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Jan. 16 - Opens at 6 p.m. and resumes normal operating hours

  • Dec. 19-22 from 5-10 p.m.
  • Dec. 23-Jan. 2 - Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 10  p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Jan. 3-Jan. 13 - Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    Two people were killed and one person injured following a crash in Ripley County on Thanksgiving night. It happened just after 10:30 p.m. on Route K on Nov. 24, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
