Bismarck, MO man accused of promoting child pornography

BISMARCK, MO (KFVS) -

A Bismarck, Missouri man is facing charges of child pornography.

Gerard E. Drumheller, 63, was arrested for promoting child pornography and possession of child pornography.

He was arrested on December 14 after an investigation conducted by members of the Division of Drug and Crime Control's Digital Forensics Investigative Unit.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, on Wednesday, investigators contacted Drumheller at his home in the 17000 block of Missouri Route 32 in Bismarck.

Investigators say they found child pornography and computer equipment used to commit the crimes.

Drumheller was arrested and taken to the Washington County Jail.

He was formally charged with three counts of possession of child porn and one count of promoting child porn. Drumheller is being held on a $100,000 bond.

    Two people were killed and one person injured following a crash in Ripley County on Thanksgiving night. It happened just after 10:30 p.m. on Route K on Nov. 24, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
