Murray police officer receives Governor’s Award

KENTUCKY (KFVS) -

A Murray, Ky. police officer has received an enforcement award during a ceremony on December 13, 2016.

According to the Murray Police Department, Officer Blake Maness was the recipient of the 2016 Governor’s Impaired Driving Enforcement Award.

Officer Maness was given the award during a ceremony in Lexington.

At the ceremony the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and Kentucky Office of Highway Safety recognized law enforcement officers and agencies from across the state that have saved lives through their efforts to reduce alcohol and drug-impaired driving.
