STODDARD COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

A Puxico woman will spend the rest of her life in prison for killing her husband.

Victoria Isaac was sentenced to life in prison for the charge of second degree murder and a consecutive sentence of 25 years in prison for the charge of armed criminal action.

That sentencing hearing was conducted in Kennett on a change of venue request.

Isaac admitted she shot and killed her husband, Chris Isaac, at their Puxico home on May 14, 2013.

Court documents show she shot her husband 11 times in the head with a 6 shot revolver while he slept on the couch.

She pleaded guilty to the charges last month.

According to Stoddard County Prosecuting Attorney Russell Oliver, right after the hearing, Isaac and her sister, Betty Taylor, started screaming obscenities and threatened physical violence toward the victim's family along with others in the court.

There was an apparent struggle in the courtroom and Isaac was restrained by court bailiffs.

But, her sister, Betty Taylor, ran from the courthouse and hasn't been seen since.

Witnesses filled out statements about the incident in the courtroom and have been submitted to the Dunklin County Prosecuting attorney.

Taylor may face charges in connection to the incident.
