2 suspects sentenced in Union Co., IL home invasion, robbery

UNION COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -

Two people have been sentenced for their role in a December 2016 home invasion and robbery in Jonesboro, Illinois.

According to Union County State's Attorney Tyler Edmonds, Brooke Stanton, 21, and Devin Salyers, 20, both pleaded guilty.

Stanton was sentenced to 14 years in prison on a charge of home invasion.

Salyers was sentenced to 10 years in prison on the same charge.

A juvenile remains in juvenile detention on charges of home invasion and armed robbery.
