POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) -

A call about a vehicle blocking a road in Poplar Bluff ends with a man behind bars.

According to the police department, officers were called to the intersection of South 6th Street at Park Street around 8:20 Tuesday night.

They found the driver of the Jeep, Titus Turner, 25, of Poplar Bluff, unconscious behind the wheel with his foot on the brake.

One of the officers parked his patrol car in front of the Jeep before making contact with Turner.

He woke up with officers knocked on the Jeep window.

Turner put it in park and got out.

Because he did not have a valid driver's license, Turner's Jeep was impounded and towed from the scene.

Investigators found a half pound of suspected methamphetamine and digital scales in the jeep.

He also had $1,000 on him when he was arrested.

Turner was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.
