GALLATIN, MO (KFVS) -

A 7-year-old boy and his father who had been missing for 13 days have been found safe in Texas.

Anthony Davis, 32, is accused of kidnapping his son, Seth.

He was supposed to return his son on Dec. 4, but never showed up for the custody exchange.

They were last seen at a Walmart in Chillicothie, MO on Dec. 2. The vehicle they were believed to be driving in was found on Dec. 14 in Washington, Mo.

According to the Gallatin Police Department, Anthony and Seth Davis were found in Brownsville, Texas around 10:30 a.m.

Investigators say Seth is with the Brownsville Police Missing Persons Unit and is waiting to be reunited with his mom.

Anthony Davis is behind bars.

He faces a felony charge in Missouri of Parental Kidnapping.
