WANTED: Dyersburg, TN police searching for two men involved in rape of woman

DYERSBURG, TN (KFVS) -

Police in Dyersburg, Tennessee are searching for two men accused of breaking into a woman's house, and raping her.

On December 8, 2016, around midnight Dyersburg Police responded to a home in the Milltown area in reference to a forcible rape.

When they got there, officers assisted a female victim that reported being raped while in her home.

The investigation is ongoing but has revealed that two assailants did forcefully enter the home of the victim and one of them did rape her while the other assisted in restraining her.

The assailants are described as black males between the ages of 20 and 35.

One male is described as a larger man around six feet in height and the second is skinnier and slightly shorter.

The Dyersburg Police Department is requesting that anyone that has any information that may lead to the arrest and conviction of these suspects please call the Criminal Investigation Division at 288-7679 or Crime Stoppers at 285-TIPS.

    Two people were killed and one person injured following a crash in Ripley County on Thanksgiving night. It happened just after 10:30 p.m. on Route K on Nov. 24, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
