Sports Minute: Here is the latest Kentucky and Tennessee sports news from The Associated Press

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Brandt Snedeker has shot an 11-under 59 at the Wyndham Championship, falling one shot shy of matching the PGA Tour's record. He made a 20-foot putt on his final hole, becoming the 10th player in tour history to break 60. Jim Furyk set the record with a 58 in the final round of the Travelers Championship in 2016.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee cornerback Adoree Jackson was flipping for joy after a couple of interceptions defending Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 18th pick overall in 2017, Adoree Jackson celebrated picking off a pass to DeSean Jackson in a one-on-one drill with a flip. With few people on the far side of the field watching, Jackson made sure to flip again after intercepting a pass intended for Bucs tight end O.J. Howard. Jackson graded himself down for not sticking his landing.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee is counting on the championship background of new coach Jeremy Pruitt to help the program bounce back from one of its worst seasons ever. Pruitt has been on the staff of five national championship teams at Alabama and Florida State. The Volunteers are coming off a 4-8 season in which they set a school record for losses.

LEBANON, Tenn. (AP) - Cumberland University's arena will have its court named in honor of former Cumberland men's coach Cliff Ellis. The designation will be made during a ceremony Friday at Dallas Floyd Phoenix Arena.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - The Memphis Grizzlies have signed guard Markel Crawford and added him to their training-camp roster. Crawford is a 23-year-old Memphis native who played seven games for the Grizzlies' NBA Summer League 2018 team in Las Vegas. He went unselected in the 2018 draft after playing for Mississippi during the 2017-18 season. He transferred from Memphis to Ole Miss for his final season of eligibility.

BRISTOL, Tenn. (AP) - Johnny Sauter took the lead with five laps left when John Hunter Nemechek slowed because of late fuel pickup issues, then held off Stewart Friesen at Bristol Motor Speedway for his fifth NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory of the season. The 40-year-old Sauter wrapped up the series regular-season title by starting the race on the 0.533 oval, and went on to break a tie with Brett Moffitt for the series victory lead heading into the playoffs.
