Roger Seay - News Director

Roger Seay is the news director at KFVS12.

Broadcasting has been a passion since Roger was a young kid growing up in Louisville, Kentucky.

His television heroes were meteorologist Chuck Taylor, Gary Roedemeier and Melissa Swan at WHAS.

He moved to the Heartland in high school and started working at WPKY radio while at Caldwell County High School in Princeton, Ky.

At Murray State University, Roger majored in journalism while working at WKMS radio as a jazz and classical music host.

After college, he returned to Louisville where he worked with his heroes at WHAS. It was the first of several jobs that allowed him to work in some very cool cities such as Portland, Ore. (KGW-TV) and Cincinnati, Ohio (WXIX-TV).

Roger returned to the Heartland in December 2013 to work at KFVS and said it has been a blast ever since. He said working at KFVS is an honor.

"The station is a community institution," he said. "Everyone takes so much pride in the work we do each day."

Roger lives in Cape Girardeau with his wife and two daughters.
