Poplar Bluff PD search for woman accused of stealing from local Walmart

POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) -

The Poplar Bluff Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a woman accused of stealing merchandise from a Walmart store on Sunday, September 11.

Police responded to the complaint around 10 p.m. Sunday. Walmart employees told police a female subject pretended to scan several items in a self checkout lane and left the store without paying for nearly $70 worth of merchandise.

Anyone with information regarding the identity or location of the suspect is asked to contact Officer Robert Reed at the Poplar Bluff Police Department at (573)-785-5776 or rreed@pbpolice.org.
