4 arrested in Weakley Co., TN on drugs charges

WEAKLEY COUNTY, TN (KFVS) -

The Weakley County Sheriff's Department is reporting four people were arrested on Friday, September 9 on drug-related charges. 

Deputy Neil Cantrell of the Weakley County Sheriff's Department went to a home on Friday at 1470 Concord Rd near Latham, Tennessee to serve civil paperwork from the courthouse on Megan Bell, 24, of Latham Tennessee for an emergency removal of her child. When the door to the mobile home was opened, a strong odor of marijuana came from inside the home

A search warrant was obtained for the house and several ounces of marijuana were recovered along with scales and equipment used to package marijuana for resale. Two class jars full of what is believed to be melted gummy bears tainted with marijuana were also recovered, along with a section of blotting paper, which is often used to ingest drugs like LSD or Ecstasy. The blotter paper will be sent to the T.B.I. crime lab to see if it contains any illegal narcotic.

Deputies also seized $1195 in cash along several guns were confiscated.

Brian Travis Harrison, 33, Megan Bell, 24, Catherine Brooke Dillard, 19, and Sara Jane Roberson, 19, all of Latham, Tennessee, were all arrested and charged with possession of schedule 6 marijuana with the intent to resale and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
