Open auditions announced for Cape Girardeau haunted house

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

The City of Cape Girardeau is looking for monsters, ghosts and ghouls to fill its annual haunted house.

The Department of Parks and Recreation is holding open auditions for the 2016 Haunted Hall of Horror.

Auditions will be held on Monday, September 26 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesday, September 27 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the A.C. Brase Arena building.

Those wishing to audition can don the appearance of a frightening figure, however, it is not required.

Prospective performers will need to bring a legal form of identification to the audition and be at least 16 years of age.

Actors selected to haunt the hall of horror will need to be available for work on October 14-15, 21-22, 28-29 and 31 starting at 6 p.m.
