Cape Girardeau woman in custody, accused of beating person with aluminum bat

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

A Cape Girardeau, Missouri woman accused of beating someone with an aluminum baseball bat is in custody.

According to Cape Girardeau police, Chene Cominique Aldridge, 32, was taken into custody on Tuesday morning, September 20.

She was wanted and there was an active arrest warrant charging her with first-degree assault and armed criminal action. Her bond was set at $30,000 cash or surety.

Aldridge is accused of repeatedly hitting the victim on the left side of their body with an aluminum baseball bat.
