Meet your Heartland neighbors at this year's Benton Neighbor Days

BENTON, MO (KFVS) -

Come out and meet your Heartland neighbors at this year's Benton Neighbor Days Festival.

The event kicks off on Friday, Sept. 3 at the town's fairgrounds.

On Friday, events are from 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. On Saturday events start at 10:30 a.m. with a parade.

Events for Friday:

  • Miss Neighbor Day Pageant
  • Live music from The Silver Fox Band
  • Carnival Rides

Events for Saturday:

  • Parade
  • Mutton Bustin'
  • Scavenger Hunt
  • Greased Pole Contest
  • Live music from The Keith Morrison Band & Paragon

Local churches and organizations will also have booths to purchase food and drink along with other activities that give back to the local community.

Admission to the event and parking are free.
