Cape Girardeau church gathering donations for Louisiana flood victims

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

A church in Cape Girardeau will be gathering supplies on Thursday, Sept. 1 to take to flood victims in Louisiana.

The donation event is being put on by Rock N Roll Church at the Chick-fil-A on Gordonville Road.

People can drop off donations between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

The church is looking for donations like cleaning supplies, feminine products, paper products, diapers, etc.

Food and water are not necessary to donate.

Chick-fil-A posted online that if you bring in five toiletries you can get a free classic chicken sandwich.

Donations can also be taken to Cape Girardeau Baptist Association from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
