CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

A worship concert in Cape Girardeau is expected to bring in a crowd Tuesday evening.

It is all a part of the free Chick-fil-A summer praise concert series.

The concerts are put on in partnership with KHIS Radio, Lifeway Christian Stores, 17 local churches and independent worship teams, and more.

Tuesday's concert will feature several Cape Girardeau County churches and independent christian worship teams including: Intrepid Souls, Lighthouse Ministries, City Church, Lynwood Baptist Church and Crossroads Church.

In addition to the music, there will be events set up for kids, Chick-fil-A cows, and free food samples.

Everyone is invited. Bring along a blanket or some lawn chairs.

The concert will be held next door to Chick-fil-A Cape Girardeau in the US Bank parking lot.

You can park at West Park Mall and take a shuttle to the location.

According to Chick-fil-A the concerts have three goals:

  1. To bring unity to our community, uniting all types of believers and non-believers.
  2. To be "senders"; to raise funds and awareness for the people and organizations in our area who are being faithful to share the gospel locally and overseas.
  3. To create a fun, safe, family-friendly concert event for our guests to enjoy.

A fourth concert is scheduled for Sept. 24.
