SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) -

The Sikeston Department of Public Safety is searching for a suspect in a bean field on Monday, August 29.

According to Sikeston DPS Sergeant Jon Broom, at around 2 p.m. Miner police tried to pull over 38-year-old Jimmy Dodds, Jr, of Sikeston, on an arrest warrant for felony assault through Scott County.

Sgt. Broom said the suspect ran into a bean field at the corner of Ables Road and State Highway AA in Miner.
